Facilities at The Halt, holiday cottage, Sheringham

The Halt is a self-catering holiday home in Sheringham, Norfolk. The property is located approximately 10 minutes walk from the beach, 3 minutes walk from the North Norfolk Heritage Railway and the main Sheringham High Street. The property caters for families, dogs and children and has two private on site car parking spaces.  

The Halt, Sheringham is also available to rent as a 2 bedroom property (sleeps 4). You will have access to the same living areas, bathrooms, kitchen and garden as would be for a 4 bedroomed property, but the top floor will be closed off. A 20% reduction is made to the full price if only 4 persons are staying. Please check the booking page for more details of pricing and availability. 

The Halt holiday cottage (as a 4 bed property) consists of the following: 

• 4 bedrooms, sleeping a maximum of 8 persons (A king bedroom with 1 x King bed; a Single Bedroom with 1 x single bed, a twin bedroom with 2 x single beds; and a triple bedroom with 1 x king bed, and 1 x single bed).;
• 2 bathrooms (one with shower and W/C and one with half sized bath and W/C);
• 2 reception rooms (Dining room and Lounge Room);
• Kitchen;
• Rear garden and outdoor furniture for 8 with area for sitting out
• Off-street parking for two cars to the rear of the property (accessed from alleyway)

As a two bed property, the upper floor would be closed, meaning that the two bedrooms on level one would be available. Their configurations are one bedroom with a king sized bed and one bedroom with 2 single beds. 

Facilities included within the Halt for to make your stay comfortable include:

• Cutlery and cooking utensils;

• Linen, towels, bedding;
• Sofas, dining table, desk and furniture to make your stay comfortable;
• Smart TV with freeview channels and internet streaming sites ( please access these using your own passwords and profiles);

• High Chair;
• Travel Cot (Please bring your own bedding for the travel cot); and 
• Bed guards which can be inserted to single beds;
• Baby/ pet gate

As this is a self-catering accommodation, please remember to bring your own toiletries for your stay. Whilst we provide toilet rolls, hand soap, tea and coffee to get you started, a Tesco is a short walk from the Halt which will be able to cater for any additional items you may need.

In order to be more environmentally friendly, the Halt is temperature controlled by program for your comfort. There is the ability to boost the temperature of the house to a maximum 22 degrees, there are also throws available.
